Anti-Terror Police Arrest 2 Suspects, 1 Escapes In Eastleigh Raid
Anti terror police have foiled what could have been a well planned terror attack in Nairobi after laying an ambush on suspected Al shabaab urgents in Nairobi’s Eastleigh section seven area
Four suspects disguised as women were arrested and several improvised explosive devices recovered during the friday night operation.
Sources privy to the operation say the arrests were made after several days of surveillance by detectives from the anti-terror unit.
As Yussuf Ibrahim now reports the arrests happened in the wake of a series of foiled attempts by the Al- shabaab to launch revenge attacks in the country after the Kenya Defence Forces smoked them out of their positions in neighbouring somalia.
Atleast two people have been confirmed dead and three others injured during a raid by suspected Pokot raiders on Kiserian village in Baringo county.
